Todd grew up in southwestern North Dakota on the family farm and ranch, helping his father run the small grains, cattle, and sheep operation. Todd began his career with RCC in August of 1990 while attending Minot State University in Minot, ND. He started as the store freight receiver and worked later as a sales associate in the store. After graduating from college in 1991, he accepted the position of assistant manager and helped open the Mankato, MN, store. In 1992, he moved back to Minot to fill an assistant manager position. He was promoted to manager of the Grand Forks, ND, store in 1993. Todd moved to the corporate office in Rapid City, SD, in 1994, and filled a new position of accessory buyer for the company. Besides accessories, he has also had responsibility as men's denim buyer from 2000 to 2003. Todd currently continues with all accessory and gift buying and is the merchandise plans analyst.

Todd graduated from Minot State with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Management.

Todd is married to his wife, Shonna, and has a son, Trevor. In his free time, he enjoys all outdoor activities, racing, and remodeling his home.
